Cape May Native James Louderback Attends Pre-College Summer Institute at the University of the Arts

Cape May, N.J., native James Louderback attended the Art + Media program of the Pre-College Summer Institute at the University of the Arts. The Art + Media program which helps students explore their individual talents and interests, learn new skills and develop a more comprehensive portfolio. The program provides students with a visual arts, media and communication education experience, comparable to one at the freshman college level. It is also a great opportunity for young artists to experiment with new materials and art forms as they expand their portfolios. Louderback is a rising senior at Cape May County Technical High School.

Pre-College Summer Institute is an intensive program on the campus of the University of the Arts for rising juniors and seniors in the following subject areas: Acting, Art + Media Exploration, Dance, Jazz and Musical Theater. Programs are either two or four weeks in July.

The University of the Arts is the nation’s first and only university dedicated to the visual, performing and communication arts. Its 2,400 students are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs on its campus in the heart of Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts. The institution’s roots as a leader in educating creative individuals date back to 1868.
